Primary school “MALINA POPIVANOVA“
Primary school “MALINA POPIVANOVA“ was founded on August 26, 1985. The school has been re-registered as a Center for the support of students with special educational needs. The school has a very spacious schoolyard with a large lawn area and a solid basketball court; a smaller playground and a few resting areas that can also be used for outdoor classes. The school has two buildings and an indoor sports hall.
At the end of 2019, a sensory room for students with disabilities was put into use in the school.The room is used as a therapy for children with limited communication skills.The room holds a broad variety of therapeutic spaces specifically designed and utilized to promote self–organization and positive change.
In the year 2022/23, 515 students have enrolled in the school; 86 of which are of Roma ethnicity.

Eco Logic:
ECO–LOGIC is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to protection and conservation of the environment, promotion of modern ecological practices, as well as monitoring and promoting the principle of sustainable development, emphasizing primary education settings (formal and non-formal), kindergartens, elementary and secondary schools, as well as universities.
Our organization encourages and supports positive changes in the environment in the forms of:
- Promotion of the ecology as science, and promotion of the cleaner production concept, emphasizing primary education settings.
- Protection and conservation of nature and the environment, as well as distribution of environmental knowledge and upgrade of ecological education.
- Promotion of the principle for sustainable development and development of VET programs in the field.
- Creating new “green” jobs based on the concept of sustainable development.
- Organization of specific tailored made training programs related to sustainable development (eq: sustainable development goals/SDG’s, sustainability, sustainability advising, SD in social entrepreneurship, educational SDG camps for youth, and project activities for both high school staff and students).
- Opportunity for training and involvement of all interested citizens in projects in the area of ecology and environmental protection and management.
- Development and testing of innovative methodologies for teaching and learning on the topics of sustainable development, European values, sustainability advising, environmental awareness, and social business development.
- Development and introduction of educational board games on various topics in formal and non formal settings (training courses, classrooms, etc.).
- Development and testing of tools for initiation of discussion among young people and adults (social topics, Еuropean values, personal beliefs, sustainable community development, etc.)
- Participation in the creation of the first national program on home care assistants for elderly people with Alzheimer’s disease, in collaboration with various other national organizations.
- Delivery of variety of campaigns such as environmental campaigns, worker’s rights campaigns, and many others.
ECO-LOGIC has a strong background and experience in child, youth and adult related work, emphasizing non formal education activities on various topics. Since its establishment in 2011, the organization has devoted itself to share and promote knowledge and information on the topics of environment, ecology and sustainable development in elementary schools across the country, but also across Europe. Eco Logic has strong network with 150 elementary schools and 30 high schools across Macedonia. It also collaborates with the City of Skopje (Department for Education), Аdult Education Center as well as with Bureau for Development of Education.

Primary school Dubovac
Primary school Dubovac was founded in 1979. The school has the most students in Karlovac County. In addition to the parent school, our school also has 1 regional school in a different location from the parent school, and a small, auxiliary school in a location not far from the parent school.
The school was named after the old town of Dubovac, which is located in its immediate vicinity. Dubovac Elementary School is attended by 756 students this year, distributed in 35 classes. The school has several students who study according to an adapted program and these students are successfully integrated into the classroom and the school.
Within the school, students can attend several extracurricular activities such as choir, drumming which is our most popular activity, GLOBE program, drama group, media group, art group, robotics, universal sports school, young technicians, Red Cross. Additional classes are organized in chemistry, biology, mathematics, history, geography, Croatian language, etc.
For 15 years, the school has been involved in the GLOBE program (sponsored by NASA, USA), in which students measure atmospheric, hydrological, pedological and biological factors in the environment and then submit it to a common database in the USA. About 200 countries are involved in GLOBE. The school is the regional center of the GLOBE program in the Republic of Croatia.

"Kiril Hristov" Primary School Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
OU “Kiril Hristov” Stara Zagora, Bulgaria was founded in 1896. It is a school with centuries of history. It bears the name of the Bulgarian poet from Stara Zagora – Kiril Hristov. Prominent Bulgarian personalities were educated in the school.
OU “Kiril Hristov” – Stara Zagora is an innovative school, which forms skills for self-education and self-development, which contributes to building a society of independent and responsible individuals.
OU “Kiril Hristov” educates students from 7 to 14 years old. Two levels of education: primary – I-IV section – from 7 to 10 years and primary – V – VII section – from 11 to 14 years. A total of 59 teachers work in the school and 917 students study in 33 classes.
The school is a modern Bulgarian school. It is among the leaders in the Stara Zagora region with its modern and rich material and technical base. There are specialized rooms for: history, Bulgarian language and literature, mathematics, English language, geography, biology, chemistry, fine arts, music. The “green classroom” is built in the quiet part of the school yard. Many exotic flowers, bushes and trees are planted on the green area. A dedicated outdoor learning area allows teachers to bring together many different topics and present them to students in an interesting, easy and engaging way. The “green classroom” provides children with a personal connection with nature. It develops their attitude towards environmental protection, creates prerequisites for a healthy lifestyle, educates responsibility and research spirit.
